Introducing our new Business Engagement and Program Manager

We are pleased to introduce to you our new ICMS Program Manager Nick Tito!

Growing up on the coast of Maine in the United States, I was inspired to pursue a scientific career by the powerful winter cyclones that strike my hometown each year.

I began on an academic track, with a Ph.D in Chemistry at Dartmouth, and post-doctoral research fellowships at Cambridge University, TU/e (Applied Physics), and the ICMS. I then shifted into the science & tech startup world, first at an Amsterdam-based company for complex fluid simulation called RheoCube, and then as co-founder of a tech-bio startup called IridescentBio specialized in antibody computational modelling.

I love science that addresses the toughest technological, climate, industrial, and medical challenges we face as humans. Helping to bring this potent science to life beyond the universities and institutes where it is discovered is deeply rewarding to me.

I’m grateful to now have the opportunity to contribute this passion “back home” at the ICMS, as its new Program Manager.

On the side, I study and compose classical piano (check out my work on Spotify!), have an active fitness schedule, and love tracking the weather. Fun fact: I got a grant from NASA when I was 19 to study the physics of snowfall.
