We’re pleased to announce that the ICMS (Institute for Complex Molecular Systems) Advanced Microscopy Facility at Eindhoven University of Technology has now formally joined the national infrastructure network of NL‑BioImaging.
NL-BioImaging is the Dutch distributed research infrastructure for advanced (light) microscopy technologies which provides open access to both academic and industrial users across the Netherlands.
- Our microscopy platform is now embedded within a nationally coordinated infrastructure framework — raising our profile, capacity and visibility.
- We will facilitate more direct collaborations with other nodes in the NL-Bioimaging.
- Users from across the Netherlands (and beyond) can access our facility via NL-BioImaging’s access portal, helping broaden the user base and catalyse new collaborations.
- Alignment with national strategy also strengthens our institutional positioning: infrastructure is no longer just a service but a strategic enabling capability for discovery, innovation, and translation.
This integration supports our broader ambition to treat infrastructure as a strategic asset, one that transcends stand-alone service mode and becomes a visible driver of interdisciplinary innovation. For our users this means easier access, more streamlined workflows, and stronger connections into the national ecosystem. For our institution it reinforces our identity as a hub that connects people, platforms and impact.
