Beyond the dedicated instruments listed elsewhere on this site, several research groups at TU/e build their own microscopes to answer questions that off-the-shelf systems cannot. These setups change as the science changes; this page is a pointer to ongoing work rather than a fixed catalogue.
From the Zijlstra group
Custom modalities developed in Peter Zijlstra’s group (Molecular Plasmonics, TU/e):
- Correlative super-resolution and atomic force microscopy
- Single-molecule spectral microscopy
- Single-molecule orientation microscopy
From the Albertazzi and Voets groups
High-throughput and multimodal super-resolution microscopy is being developed in the groups of Lorenzo Albertazzi and Ilja Voets.
